জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধীনে ২০১৬-১৭ শিক্ষাবর্ষের ১ম বর্ষ স্নাতক (সম্মান) শ্রেণীতে ২০১৩/২০১৪ সালের মাধ্যমিক/সমমান এবং ২০১৫/১৬ সালের উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক/সমমান পরীক্ষায় আলাদাভাবে ৪র্থ বিষয় সহ ন্যূনতম জিপিএ ২.০০ প্রাপ্ত শিক্ষার্থীরা ২৫/০৯/২০১৬ তারিখ থেকে ২০/১০/২০১৬ তারিখের মধ্যে অনলাইনে আবেদন ফরম পূরণ করতে পারবে। এই আবেদন ফরমটি প্রিন্ট করে ২৩/১০/২০১৬ তারিখের মধ্যে আবেদন ফি বাবদ ২৫০/- টাকা ও প্রার্থীর মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক/সমমান পরীক্ষার সত্যায়িত নম্বরপত্র, রেজিস্ট্রেশন কার্ডের সত্যায়িত কপিসহ সংশ্লিষ্ট কলেজে জমা দিতে হবে৷

১৯ জুলাই ২০১৬ তারিখ, মঙ্গলবার বেলা ১১টায় শেরেবাংলা কৃষি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উপাচার্য কনফারেন্স কক্ষে কমিটির ২৪৭তম সভায় ২০১৬-১৭ শিক্ষাবর্ষের ভর্তি পরীক্ষার তারিখ ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে। পাবলিক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়সমূহে ভর্তি পরীক্ষা নির্বিঘ্নে করতে বাংলাদেশ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় পরিষদের পক্ষ থেকে স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়কে চিঠি পাঠানোরও সিদ্ধান্ত হয়েছে।

জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ২০১৬ সালের স্নাতকোত্তর (প্রফেশনাল) কোর্সের এল এল বি ১ম পর্ব/পোষ্ট গ্রাজুয়েট ডিপ্লোমা ইন জার্ণালিজম/ ডিপ্লোমা ইন লাইব্রেরী এন্ড ইনফরমেশন সায়েন্স/এমএসসি ইন কম্পিউটার সায়েন্স/ মাস্টার অব বিজনেস্ এ্যাডমিনিস্ট্রেশন (এমবিএ)/ এম বি এ ইন অ্যাপারেল মার্চেন্ডাইজিং কোর্সসমূহের ভর্তি কার্যক্রমের রিলিজ স্লিপের মেধা তালিকা ২২ আগস্ট ২০১৬ তারিখ প্রকাশ করা হবে৷ ঐদিন বিকাল ৪ টার পর প্রথমে এসএমএস এ তারপর রাত ৯ টার পর অনলাইনে এই ফলাফল প্রকাশ করা হবে।

(ক ইউনিট): ২০১৬ সালে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক বা সমমান পরীক্ষায় চতুর্থ বিষয়সহ একত্রে মোট জিপিএ অন্তত ৮.০০ পেতে হবে। (খ ইউনিট): ২০১৬ সালে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক বা সমমান পরীক্ষায় চতুর্থ বিষয়সহ একত্রে মোট জিপিএ অন্তত ৭.০০ পেতে হবে । (গ ইউনিট): ২০১৬ সালে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক বা সমমান পরীক্ষায় চতুর্থ বিষয়সহ একত্রে মোট জিপিএ অন্তত ৭.৫০ পেতে হবে। (ঘ ইউনিট): ২০১৬ সালে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক বা সমমান পরীক্ষায় চতুর্থ বিষয়সহ একত্রে মোট জিপিএ অন্তত ৮.০০ (বিজ্ঞান), ৭.৫০ (ব্যবসায় শিক্ষা), ৭.০০ (মানবিক) পেতে হবে।
